During the second half term we will be learning how to engage in pretend play using imagination and expression through our voice, body movements and gestures. This will be link to our stories, allowing us to recreate what we have read.
We will be using our senses to smell, touch, look and hear, through baking, playing with sensory resources, and visits.
We will also observe the changes from Autumn to the first signs of Winter by visiting Robin wood with Forest Schools.
We will be sharing our texts, whilst learning to sequence and enjoy sharing books and look and respond to the pictures and words. Using puppets, we will develop play, based on shared stories. We will also make marks with increasing control, which we can explain, based on the pictures from our texts and develop an interest of creative based activities.
In Math this half term...
count by using and making sounds pointing or saying some number names through songs and rhymes and counting using real objects.
We will also be learning how to compare sizes and weights using the language of "bigger/little/smaller", "high/low", "tall", "heavy", moving on to learn about length and height.
No.1 at Bentley High Street Primary School offers part-time places for children aged 2 to 3 years old. Places are available to children who meet the eligibility criteria for government free funding, as well as paid places. No.1 is a term time only provision offering 3-hour sessions each day. We offer 24 part-time places, where children can attend either morning or afternoon sessions.
Session times are 8:40am-11:40am and 12:30pm-3:30pm.
